Hello!
My name is Emma Vernon and I’m so glad you’re here.
I am a marketing coordinator, graphic designer and social media specialist. I graduated from Mizzou in Spring 2023 from the School of Journalism and since then I have been finding ways to grow as a communicator and gain as much industry experience as possible. I pride myself on being a jack-of-all-trades and picking up on new skills and trends quickly.
For as long as I can remember I have had a passion for creativity, expressed through clever communication and bold, colorful visuals. During my time at Mizzou I had the opportunity to strengthen that passion and develop a wide array of skills that support me in my work. As I continue to grow and improve as a designer and communicator my ambitions grow as well.
Beyond design, I thrive in leadership positions and constantly find myself wanting to be more involved or helping make the decisions. I have showcased this through numerous opportunities in my life where I was able to grow as both a leader and a person overall. These experiences have led to a passion for account management alongside design.
And of course, growing up during the rise of social media has helped me to develop a passion for the ever growing industry and the ways it allows people to stay connected. Social media plays such a vital role in our culture today and I love getting to play my part in adding to the symphony of voices whether it is on my own account or through managing accounts for others.
